Accomplished, seasoned, and humble, Daniel Bundrick is a graduate of the University of SouthCarolina College of Pharmacy with a Bachelor of Science in 1984. Daniel has mentored and taught practical pharmacy protocol for pharmacy students and interns and was a preceptor at his alma mater the University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy, MUSC(Medical University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy), and Presbyterian College of Pharmacy. Daniel won Preceptor of the Year twice for USC College of Pharmacy in 2006 and 2011 voted on by the students. Daniel has held incredibly unique positions during his 37-year career as a pharmacist, including with Hospital Systems, Nursing Home Pharmacies, Independent Pharmacies, and Employee Based Pharmacies with as many as over 6,000 employees (SCANA). Daniel even won Innovative Pharmacist of the Year by the SC Pharmacy Association for his novel approach to educating his customers at SCANA Pharmacy in 2007.
He is now "semi-retired" although he still works 20 hours a week for another employee-based pharmacy called Nephron Pharmacy. Daniel is extremely excited to be your pharmacist. He wants to use his years of pharmacy experience to dispense practical information to you via this radio medium. He realizes the need for simple yet important reminders and precautions for powerful prescription medications. He wants to share his knowledge of pharmaceuticals and to also offer natural solutions as well. Daniel has owned a community pharmacy called Surfside Beach Pharmacy, and currently owns several wellness stores. He has always embraced natural alternatives and herbals and is hemp broker and on a team that grows indoor and outdoor hemp in his home State.
He was the pharmacist selected to advocate to get medical cannabis legal in the state of South Carolina under the Compassionate Care Act of South Carolina. Daniel is committed to his profession, community and the fabric of our communities, family. When not enlightening the world through his show, he enjoys the outdoors, photography, traveling, church softball and golf. He is also a PADI certified scuba diver. He has been married to Lee Ann Fowler Bundrick (also a pharmacist) for 36 years, and they two sons, Tyler and Burch, and a beautiful granddaughter Olivia Elle.
